We firmly believe that chefs have a unique power and kuleana to create a better food future for Hawaii.   The Hawaii Chef Action Network provides us a structure to build connections, get educated on the issues that are critical to our world, and connect to policymakers, media and advocates in order to fundamentally transform our local food system. We host events and support campaigns aimed at creating a more sustainable, culturally conscious, and biodiverse food system that encourages the next generation to build lasting relationships with the land and what they eat. 

That, and we have a hell of a good time doing it.
